This manual and CD set was designed for parents and professionals working with children age 5 and younger. You can photocopy from the manual or use the CD to print activities for listening around the house and throughout a child' s day. The manual includes a simple yet complete guide to selecting appropriate listening goals and avoiding potential listening pitfalls. Games, crafts, books, and other activities are organized to progress along a hierarchy that will reduce dependency on context and set size, acoustic highlighting, word position, and number of elements. There are reproducible mobiles, nursery rhyme sequence pictures, nursery rhyme activities and puppets, flip books, iron on transfers for pillows, socks and bean bag dolls, games and crafts for everyday vocabulary, and parent tips on hearing and audiograms.
